How lovely are your pixels...
My Canon A70 arrived yesterday. It is teeny, but what's nice is that it's an automatic camera with a ton (and I mean an long ton, not a Metric tonne) of features that you wouldn't expect on a camera like this -- manual focus, manual aperature and timing (f/2.8-8.0, 1/2000 to 15 secs), panorama setup, 5 or 6 other preset modes, movie mode (640x480 and smaller AVIs), and a few others I haven't discovered because the manual is about the size of Wolfram's A New Kind of Science.
Anyway, there's so much here that after 18 hours with it I still don't completely understand what's going on, but I know that it can take pictures like this:
Look out Kat. In twenty or thirty years I'll be in your photographic review mirror. Or forty. Maybe fifty....
