Happy St. David's Day. It's the Welsh St. Patricks Day, only without the drunken debauchery and the massive alcohol-fueled global celebration. The US is starting to get into it, though -- March 1 is now a state holiday in Pennsylvania (which has the largest Welsh population outside of Wales) and the Empire State building was lit up in red and green. In a couple of generations, who knows? Male choirs, leeks and rarebit, and drunken debauchery all over America!
