I have returned to the soccer pitch for a short stint. Three games in the coed 5-on-5 soccer tourney. Thing is, I'm 30, but everyone else is an undergrad. Talk about a generation gap. Last time I played competitive soccer, Iran was still under the control of the Shah.
Our governor, Gary Locke, gave the Democratic rebuttal to the State of the Union address. Mr 30% Approval Rating trying to lecture the president on leadership. I guess the good news is he won't survive the next election in 2004, but the bad news is the GOP has no one with a bone of leadership in their body and the Dems are just as bereft.
