I got a KitchenAid mixer, finally. It was christened on Christmas with a pecan pie.
Only one CD this year: U2 Best Of 1990-2000, and one book: Body of Secrets. However, I did get Age of Mythology. Heh.
Today I hit the sales. Just socks and undies from the Gap (you know you're grown up when Mom stops giving you socks and undies for Christmas) and Cascading Style Sheets: Separating Content from Presentation, which I really should have bought with work money but didn't. :(
This year, as part of my "I'm 30 and I need to get a life finally" movement, I'm sending thank you notes uncoerced for the first time ever.
I'm also like to say "howdy" to Diana and Mike and Nadia and hope that Diana gets better soon. BTW, Susan wishes to remind you that she's your blood type, Diana....
