Since I know that Google will pick up on this and I know that people from my distant past are probably killing time at work trying to figure out what happened to that stupid geeky idiot from Tulsa Edison, I have the following to say to Sherry Steele:
"Dancing with Mr. Brownstone" is a reference to the Velvet Underground's "Waiting For the Man." You asked me back in 1989 in Mrs. Snipes' English class if I knew what it meant, and it was only today that it hit me that Axl Rose was indirectly quoting the VU.
