Born 4:23am PDT on Tuesday morning (April 6). 7 lbs, 6 oz weight, 20" length.

It was, well, not fun in the least, and neither Mom nor Dad have slept since 7am on Monday morning.

Full story and pictures when I'm not exhausted.

  5. Hooray! Later has finally come and the player has been named. Congratulations to all. What an ordeal it must have been. As you rest up, though, the memories of the ordeal will be overwhelmed by the joy you'll feel as you acquaint yourself with Annabel Charlotte. What a pretty name.

We can't wait to see pictures of the newest member of the family.

  6. Eagerly awaiting that first photo. I'm so proud to welcome you to the family, Anabel Charlotte. Such a pretty name.

It was a restless night for me also....but something woke me up with warm fuzzy feelings that everything was all right....and upon checking, I find it was probably at the exact time of your birth. Much love to you and your dear parents!
    Great Gramma K.

  12. Well I see they're already mispleting Annabel. Don't say I didn't warn you.

We're tickled that everything came out alright, so to speak. Kudos to Susan for withstanding her ordeal. Mothers are incredible people.

  16. What a lovely name!

I see the Player decided at the last minute she HAD to be here in time for opening day.

You'd think the team could have scared up a win for her...

  19. Y'know, I observed that epidurals followed by c-sections are pretty civilized way to have a baby. Kinda late on that advice, I guess.

    Congratualtions!

  20. Congrats!

And epidurals followed by 8 more hours of labor followed by C-sections are NOT pretty civilized.
