Since I'm home sick with Annabel's cold (thanks, daughter dear), I may as well post something. So, I'm plaigarizing Tara's quiz.

True or False:

1. I once dated a slightly psycho Australian girl while I was in college.
2. I chose Colorado over my other options for college because they had a better football team.
3. The only time I went bungee jumping, I couldn't let go of the handhold because my knuckles were whiter than a Klan rally.
4. My first dog was put down after he mauled one of my younger brothers.
5. The strongest swear word I can muster most days is "crap."
6. The only reason I took up blogging was to learn Perl.
7. Right now I only have two pairs of jeans and two pairs of khakis that fit my too-large arse.
8. I have been sick on every Inauguration Day since 1981.

  3. Hope you are better now. I had a cold also that went into acute bronchitis and beginning pneumonia which started the day we went to Pete's. By the time I got to Denver, I had to spend the whole time in bed.
    I sure hope yours doesn't go this far.

    1. ?? Maybe so. I can't remember you dating an Australian girl in college, but you were 800 miles away. I am sure you didn't tell me EVERYTHING!!
    2. That is an absolute no....You chose Colorado to make a protest statement to the family by NOT attending the University of Oklahoma. Just because they cheated that year and won the National Championship in Football that year, doesn't count!!
    3. I do know this is true...you told me about this one.
    4. Not true. The first dog was given to Animal Aid because he dug huge holes in the back yard and grew to be twice the size of ALL OF US and was always knocking us down. We were prisioners in our own home. No yard play for you and Ryan. We had to donate $50 and 25 pounds of food for them to take her off our hands. Your Uncle Bill gave the puppy to us for Christmas, as you remember....without, I might add, our permission. Anyway...it was not put to sleep.

    8. I don't think you were sick on Reagan's inauguration. I remember watching it while Evan rolled over for the first time....AND they released the Iranian hostages that day....I don't remember you being there with me.

    10. Are there carbs in paper??? It is probably not on your diet, so I will say no, but the real answer is probably yes.....
