I have, but honestly, I'd rather find a bunch of people up for my favorite two-hours-of-strategy-and-horsetrading game, Acquire. And the rules are a bit simpler, so it's a little more newbie-friendly. Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of the game, and I doubt I could rouse any of the locals to play.
And I'm not going to pipe up and say I've played Diplomacy, because then I'd feel like I've violated some level of trust I have in my degrees of separation. The degrees protect me, I guess.
Oh well. Guess it's back to smacking around the French in Age of Empires 3.

The end of music
I'm really tired of music.
When I was in college I spent $50-100 a month on CDs. Over the years I built up a collection of over 600 CDs. Then came the MP3, and I ripped those CDs, bought more music from iTunes and other stores, and built up a sizable collection of music files.
But now, I just don't know. It all seems the same to me.
So, I'm going to sell off all of my CDs and blow away all my music files, save the music of one artist I really feel an affinity for, someone whose songs speak to me, whose songs give me comfort in my depressive, post-modern days as I deal with a looming midlife crisis.
Yes, it's April 1st.
